Julia joined the SAIRA team in March 2018 and has supported the process of building SAIRA since its early stages. She has always been interested in bringing people with different backgrounds together and believes that international exchange is uniquely able to shape humanity in a positive and innovative way.

What SAIRA means to Julia: “For a sustainable future it is vital that stakeholders from every part of the world come together and work on solutions. SAIRA provides every tool necessary to achieve successful global collaboration.”

Besides working for SAIRA, Julia is currently completing her Master’s degree in „Intercultural Communication and Education“ at the University of Cologne. So far, her studies led her to India, England, Vietnam, Israel, Turkey and Australia. While studying and conducting research abroad, she repeatedly experienced the exceptional value of jointly discussing questions of global concern. SAIRA allows her to apply this knowledge to further international networking in the world of technology.

She speaks fluent German and English, has basic knowledge of French and Indonesian and is currently learning Arabic.
