Nala Müller
Nala joined the SAIRA team in April 2018. Working with people of various cultures and socio-economic backgrounds fits well into the persona and drive that Nala has. She is a passionate and experienced development practitioner, whose work expands international cooperation, development programming and international diplomacy. She was a member of the Climate Smart Agriculture Youth Network which she represented at the 45th Session on World Food Security in Rome and actively participated at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) meetings.
What SAIRA means to Nala: “SAIRA provides an invaluable opportunity to improve international cooperation and to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals through providing a hub for all relevant stakeholders to share ideas and experiences towards a sustainable world.”
Nala gained vast experience as a UN Volunteer where she supported the organizing team for COP23 in Bonn as well as assisting Democratic Republic of Congo during Climate Change negotiations at Cop 24 in Poland. She also assisted in organizing the Sustainable Development Goal Festival for Ideas/ Actions and the Global Landscape Forum. She completed internships in international organizations such as German Academic Exchange Service, United Nations Volunteers Programme, International Office of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, and German Federal Agency for Technical Relief.
Nala holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Management from Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences. She is also a state certified commercial foreign language assistant who fluently speaks French, English, German and Lingala.
